TeleSpeak provides a suite of IP-based communications services. These include options for cloud-based hosted Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) PBX (News - Alert), collaboration, contact center and e-learning platforms.

By using this technology, businesses and other organizations can communicate effectively worldwide, the company explains.

Chance Myers, chief Sales and Marketing officer of TeleSpeak, demonstrated the company’s Office AnyWhere product, part of the popular AnyWhere platform line.

“It allows distributed work trees, multi-location, remote officer workers to come into a holistic, almost 3D view of what an office would look like,” Myers explained to TMC’s Jennifer Terentiuk at ITEXPO (News - Alert) Las Vegas.

“So for people that work out of their house or people who work in different locations, you can come together and have collaboration sessions,” he said. “You can web cam, you can do outbound dialing, you can do everything that you do in an office and kind of give that office feel.”

The product is needed given current employment trends. Some 30 million Americans will work from their homes at least once a week, according to a recent study from the Telework Research Network. Many are self-employed and others are telecommuting for some or part of the work week. And the number of people working from home is predicted to jump by 63 percent over five years, according to the Telework Research Network.

That is where the Office AnyWhere product fits into the picture. It is unique, as well. “There’s nothing on the market like this,” Myers said. “It is very new technology that’s about to become even newer with our WebRTC (real-time communications) framework that is going underneath it.”

Other AnyWhere products are targeted to PBXs (private branch exchange), contact centers, classrooms, healthcare settings and residences. And during ITEXPO, the company showed off its new WebRTC version.

Looking ahead, the company is expanding more in healthcare, especially as it relates to telemedicine, and in online education. That will provide opportunities with universities, hospitals, doctors’ offices, and insurance companies.

“It’s going global very fast,” Myers said.
