On Tuesday August 12th, Internet Telephony Service Provider (ITSP) Teliax (News - Alert) and Grandstream Networks made the joint announcement that the companies have completed certification testing f a new series of IP Phones and IP PBX Appliances. The new GXP21xx series of IP phones and the GXV322xx series of Android (News - Alert) video IP phones will soon be hitting the market following their certification, as will the UCM6100 series of IP PBX appliances. As a result, businesses around the world will be able to install and integrate these devices for a fluid and seamless calling environment for making and receiving calls, as well as managing on-premise networks.

Teliax announced their plans to work alongside Granstream at this year's ITEXPO, where they also debuted the company's new IVY Platform. The two companies now appear to be very excited to work together, as Teliax VP of Retail Operations Kerry Garrison (News - Alert) states, “I am very pleased to be working with Grandstream to certify both their IP telephony products as well as their IP PBX platform.” Similarly, Granstream is impressed by Teliax's industry-leading voice and data solutions, which work well to complement Grandstream's SIP products.

As these two companies work together, it appears clear that they are able to offer a “comprehensive solution for any business looking to increase communication abilities and business productivity while simultaneously lowering communication costs,” according to Grandstream CEO David Li (News - Alert). The company's new phones now offer a broad selection of features, including full color displays for video conferencing and built-in Bluetooth connectivity.

The new IP PBX (News - Alert) systems will ultimately allow business owners to take charge of their own VoIP phone systems with in-house equipment and management. It will also help open the door to SIP trunking for these companies, which will allow for more active phones at lower prices, thanks to more efficient routing made possible by the PBX.
