Latisys announces partnership with John Drake & Associates

Latisys, a provider of hybrid cloud hosting and data center solutions, recently announced a partnership with John Drake & Associates (JDA), a consulting services provider focused on customized managed services and solutions.

According to the terms of the partnership, JDA will use Latisys’s Denver data center to enable new Disaster Recovery (DR) capabilities, in response to increasing customer demand for IT resiliency and redundancy. JDA has already been using Latisys' Cloud-Enabled Systems Infrastructure (CESI) to deliver hybrid hosting for over four years.

"Turnkey redundancy and Disaster Recovery solutions are taking center stage for nearly every large and mid-size enterprise. We are proud to support JDA's growth from our Chicago -- and now Denver -- data center platform."

In related news, Latisys recently announced that it has been positioned by Gartner (News - Alert), Inc. in the new Magic Quadrant for Cloud-Enabled Managed Hosting, North America.(1) The report was published on July 15, 2014, and authored by Gartner analysts Doug Toombs, Lydia Leong, et al. Latisys is among 17 providers on the Magic Quadrant and believes its placement signals its arrival as a leading managed hosting and private cloud provider.
