Rave Panic Button to Deliver Faster Emergency Response

When an emergency takes place, time is one of the most precious commodities. Whether it is a natural disaster or the act of a mad man, being able to respond as soon as possible can result in fewer casualties. First responders around the country, and indeed around the world, are always looking for a solution that can integrate different technologies to provide real-time information when an incident takes place. Rave Mobile Safety, software partner for campus and public safety, announced the availability of a mobile panic button solution that brings together 9-1-1, responders and on-site school personnel.


The Rave Panic Button is designed not only to speed the response time of first responders, but to improve collaboration during those critical initial moments and increase the chances of a positive resolution of the crisis.

The delivery of accurate information to the right people is one of the most important factors in assessing the gravity of any incident that could potentially result in the injury or death of innocent individuals. Having a communications platform capable of bringing the right resources together can go a long way in ensuring a course of action can be taken based on accurate information.

The Rave Panic Button is built on the company's public safety grade infrastructure that has integrated 9-1-1 with mobile technology to provide faculty, administrators and employees with a simple, direct and powerful connection to first responders through a Panic Button.

The Rave technology does not use third party call centers to connect to first responders, it accesses existing 9-1-1 infrastructure while automatically notifying key on-site resources because it is integrated into the emergency response process.

Some of the benefits of this platform include:

  • Delivery of critical data such as detailed caller location, floor plans, emergency exits locations, emergency contacts, and key procedures

  • Supports Panic Button activation on any mobile phone, not just some smart phones
